FamilyCore employs over 80 individuals in a tight-knit work community that work with schools, the court system and other social service agencies to connect counseling, intervention, preventative education and other support services with those who have a need. FamilyCore takes a holistic approach in its continuum of care, often providing boosts of support to multiple generations. The end goal is to maintain the integrity of family, however it may be defined.

Position Summary: Utilize business development and key projects to expand and assist with diversification of resources for FamilyCore. Provide revenue and business development through financial, marketing, and quality instruments. Responsible for areas developed and revenues generated to be in alignment with FamilyCore's mission, strategic plan, & accreditation. Perform duties under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer. Responsibilities: 

  • Lead revenue and business development to achieve the annual and strategic plan goals related to diversity of funding.
  • Ensure program operates in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Ensure that revenue and business resources, tools and processes, are in place and effectively utilized which are required for each new development project.
  • Manage and implement strategy, budgeting, record keeping, billing development, and quarterly reporting for all third party billing parties.
  • Identify strategy and ensure comprehensive marketing strategy exists to support the annual and strategic goals for advancing the mission.
  • Lead and ensure all special projects assigned are managed and achieve the identified goals established on time and within budget expectations.
  • Manage and respond to all contract requirements.
  • Highly responsive to client and staff needs with respect to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics.
  • Ability to organize and maintain data and confidential information.
  • Adhere to standards adopted through Council on Accreditation.
    • Develop and maintain working relationships with all internal and external clients.
    • Ensure safety protocols and policies are practiced at all times.
    • Assume responsibility for professional development and cultural competency.
    • *Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

 Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, marketing or related area required.
  • 4-6 years related experience required.
  • Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement certification preferred.

Competency:

  • Strong skill in the areas of fiscal, personnel, and administrative management.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of procedures and distribution of quality documentation that complies with the requirements of accreditation, licensing, and contracts.
  • Collaborate and contribute to team and FamilyCore quality improvement and evaluation activities.
  • Promote and demonstrate commitment to FamilyCore's mission, vision and values.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to analyze, process, organize, present and maintain data and confidential information.
  • Working knowledge of social media technical skills and marketing awareness.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a client focus.
  • Must possess valid Illinois Driver's License in good standing and proof of valid vehicle insurance.
  • Must pass required background check.
  • Utilize time tracking software and all other software required to fulfill duties.
  • Ability to set and maintain professional boundaries with clients.
  • Safe, reliable personal vehicle, to be used for FamilyCore business.
  • Ability to be sensitive and understanding of cultural and lifestyle differences of all people regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, age, or background.
  • Successfully complete FamilyCore training as required.

Physical:

    • Regular sitting, walking, standing, grasping, fingering, reaching and lifting, pulling and pushing up to 15 lbs.
    • Occasional stooping and reaching overhead.
    • Operate general office equipment, including multi-line phone, fax machine, printer, copier, and personal computer, with or without dual monitors.

Work Environment:     

  • Work occurs in and out of an office environment. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
  • May be subject to noise, distraction, and interruptions. May be subject to difficult client interactions that involve behavioral and/or emotional challenges.
